In cooperation with the City of Vancouver, SPEC is hosting 8 repair cafes for 2023 in support of the City’s Zero Waste by 2040 goals and SPEC’s Zero Waste Committee education and advocacy programs.
Call for volunteers and fixers for Repair Cafes
SPEC (Society Promoting Environmental Conservation) in partnership with the City of Vancouver offers FREE community repair cafes because the more we can repair, the longer products stay in circulation, and this means less waste.
They are seeking volunteers for a variety of positions, including greeters, set up/take down, and fixers. If you are passionate about waste reduction, helping the community, or repairing and fixing items, they look forward to having you on the Repair Cafe team!
