Sharing, reuse, and repair helps make our daily lives more sustainable: it promotes Lighter Living (living better, healthier, and with less impact, less waste, more sharing and more of what matters). Sharing, reusing, and repairing our stuff reduces our need for new products, maintains their functionality, and extends their life. It is also a great way to enable lower cost options for consumers and provide decent, inclusive employment.
One Earth and Vancity are working together with partners across Southwestern BC to empower and support those already working towards Lighter Living, as well as help them establish a journey that community members can follow to live a re-imagined good life. |
